uses 2x RJ45 S/FTP, 3D only up to 15m
The HDMI Cat6 Extender allows you to transmit Full HD 1080p video and audio over two inexpensive and flexible Cat.6 cables of up to 20m.
HDMI 3D Blu-ray signals are supported at distances of up to 10m.
For the highest resolution with the longest distance, we highly recommend using LINDY Cat.6 or Cat.6A cables.Â.
The extender is powered via the HDMI ports of the connected HDMI devices.
If your HDMI devices do not provide sufficient power (a minimum of 120mA is required), the extender may not function properly or even not at all.
We have found such insufficient power availability from a Samsung BD player E5500 and also from an integrated on board Radeon R7 200 graphics of an AMD A10 series processor on an Asrock FM2A88X mainboard and also from Intel HD4000 on board graphics chipsets.
In such case it is required to use an HDMI Extender with its own power supply such as the LINDYÂ HDMI CAT5e/6 Extender 30m.
